This mist filled river scene was taken on November 25, 2002 just before 1pm. The view is looking east, upstream along the river below Church Mountain. I was really impressed with the way the mist swirled over the river; it brings an enchanted element to the setting. The starkness of the rocks and bare trees contrasts with the small patch of colour in the distance – a reminder that the life of summer is far off in the future but not forgotten.
