This delightful combination jumped out at me as I was strolling through the Sunnyside Urban Forest on October 18, 2002 The changing leaves seem to provide a small miniskirt for the moss-covered tree. I found the contrasts of the many shades of green and the yellowing leaves to be quite beautiful. The texture of the moss and the bare bark also combined to form a pleasant experience for my eyes. It always amazes me at the proximity and variety of interesting sights right in our immediate neighbourhood.
