Discovered in the Sunnyside Urban Forest on October 24, 2002, this little cluster of mushrooms caught my eye for the way it was nestled between the two trees. I am always amazed at the way plants can eke out a living in the most challenging of places. This clump seemed to be growing quite successfully in its home. I enjoy the fall season for photography, as there are so many marvelous small things to see if one just stops long enough to notice.
