This image of the Smokey Hollow waterfall, in Waterdown Ontario, is a lovely example of how the creeks flowing over the escarpment offer some breath-taking views, many of which are right next to busy commercial centres. This waterfall is easy to access with parking nearby. There is a nice hiking trail along the creek of moderate difficulty. I captured this scene on October 18, 2018 while wandering the country-side gathering Fall colours.
