Captured on March 1, 2003 this view of my son walking off into the distance on the slope of Church mountain immediately reminded me of a place of quiet solitude. The sounds and busyness of life are so distant here and the impact of nature so powerful and all encompassing that one is drawn into a restful state. I feel like lying down on the path on my back and soaking in the sight, smells and sounds of nature.
