These Gary Oak trees can be seen near the summit of Mount Douglas in Victoria. Their gnarly branches and seasonally changing leaves offer a variety of textures that can offer many amazing views of the trees and the slopes beyond. Here in early May 2017 the leaves were new and emerging for the summer.
