Liumchen Lake Hike 2 A lovely trip to the lake on July 23, 2005. The day was a bit cloudier then ideal for photography but it did make for a more pleasant hike with two of my boys. |

Sea to Sky Highway This trip on May 28, 2005 took us almost to the Whistler area. Our first stop was at Brohm lake which is a small body of water along the Sea-to-Sky highway. It was quite popular and offered many scenic angles. Next we drove up the Brandywine valley to see a few alpine views. |

Stawamus Chief I have always wanted to climb the chief peaks overlooking the town of Squamish and on May 1, 2004 I finally had my opportunity. Geoff and I chose to climb the second of the three which gave us a magnificent view of Howe Sound and the first peak. It was a fun hike and well worth the effort, now I need to go back to do the other two! |

East Harrison FSR The East Harrison Lake FSR has always provided a wealth of beautiful views and interesting discoveries. This trip on May 15, 2004 was no exception. I was particularly attracted to various lake views throughout the drive. |

Sunnyside Urban Forest This collection of images were gathered on October 3rd and 9th 2003. They are wonderful examples of the beauty seen right in our midst if we take a few minutes to look. Each season brings a fresh look to the forest with the same paths presenting an entirely different setting. |

Tamihi Creek Valley We drove up the Tamihi valley on November 8, 2003 to see if we could get up our favorite climb. First I took a series of shots of the Creek. Then we ascended the hills. We almost were stopped part way up but a bit of ice work cleared the way. |

Day 7 - Oakville Our last day was spent in Oakville. The lake and the beautiful trees in the old quarter were lovely as we were between storms. |

Day 6 - St. Jacobs Our day of departure. I took a last walk along the Mill Race and came upon numerous wonderful reflection images. |

Day 5 - Elora Gorge October 22 saw us drive up to Elora to view the Grand River and its interesting rock formations. |

Day 4 - The Conestogo Down stream from St. Jacobs is a nature trail that hugs the Conestogo River. It has many lovely sights and made for a great morning walk though it was a cold day. |

Day 3 - The Countryside October 20th was a day of driving. We went for a trip to Lake Huron. My first time on the lake, later I captured a few night shots. |

A Study of Mud Bay This group of six pictures was selected to convey the desolation and bareness of the Mud Bay area. This area is passed by thousands a day on their way to work yet likely never seen. It is hoped that the images when taken together will instill a sense of amazement at the unknown that is so close at hand. |
