| Fraser Canyon & Spuzzum FSR Our next area to explore was the Spuzzum region but on the way we found some nice sights in the Fraser Canyon. |

| Mount Strachan Part of the Cypress Bowl Ski area, Strachan was my fifth and final peak of the season. |

| Hope Mountain Over-looking the town of Hope, BC. This peak looked interesting and promised great scenery from the top. |

| Sumallo River FSR The little community of Sunshine Valley has caught my interest for many years as I zipped past on the Hope-Princeton Highway, today we stopped to see what it hid. |

| Lady Peak I hiked Lady Peak several years ago and have planned to try it again, hopefully reaching the actual peak this time, so I had scheduled it as one of my 5 peaks for this summer. |

| Mount Seymour I've hiked a number of the lower hikes on the mountain so it was about time I tried for the actual peak. |

| Hope Mountain FSR Travelling along The Hope-Princeton Hwy one sees numerous roads heading off into the hills. Today we explored the first of these roads. |

| Diez Vistas Overlooking Indian Arm and Buntzen Lake, this trail isn't a difficult one but does go for 15Km and takes some time to complete. |

| Squeah FSR The Fraser Canyon is a beautiful area to travel through. Most people zip down the highway barely glimpsing the scenery, today I explored the lower canyon but from the side opposite the highway. |

| Hollyburn Mountain This year I plan to hike 5 peaks and wanted to start off the series with a revisit to Hollyburn. The mountain had a few surprises for me. |

| American & Emory Creek FSR's I have not explored the roads along the Fraser Canyon so far so it was a new treat to start our adventure with American Creek FSR. |

| Ruby & Garnet Creek FSR's It being a month after our first visit, I was hoping all the snow would be gone and we could fully explore the area. |

| Upper Shannon Falls I have enjoyed the Falls from the bottom for years . Today we set out to explore the creek from the top. |

| North Mission, Hayward lake I noticed some logging roads north of mission that needed exploring, but the snow blocked them off so I ended up at Hayward lake. |

| East Harrison Highlights The east Harrison FSR offers so many view that I never get tired of exploring the area. Today we visited only the first few kilometers of the FSR. |

| Bridal Falls FSR Easily accessible from the highway, I had driven past it for years always intending to drop by. So today was the day - sort of. |

| Campbell Valley Park This little park offers a variety of sights year-round. Today being a snowy post Christmas afternoon, it looked like a unplanned visit would be worthwhile. |

| Jones/Waleach Lake Jones Lake was one of the earliest areas I explored once I started to seriously explore the region. I felt it was time to return and see the what was along the east side of the lake. |

| Day 8 - Exploring the Shoreline It was our last full day in Port Stanley and I felt I had to get out and find some photos even if the weather was questionable. |

| Day 6 - Port Stanley Terminal Rail Though a cool day, the sun was out and it was definitely time to get out and explore the town – especially the old railroad that is now a tourist attraction. |

| Day 3 - Spencer Gorge I had never been to the gorge and with the sun peeking out; it looked like it was going to be a great day for hiking and photography. |

| Day 2 - Beamer Falls This time I got a few photos from above and then we hiked in from below right up to the Falls for a new angle of the creek. |

| Chilliwack Ecological Reserve I wanted to visit the south end of Chilliwack Lake for some time, but with the road closed to protect the reserve one must hike in rather than drive. Today I decided to give it a go. |

| Goldie and Flower Lakes I visited Goldie a year ago but missed Flower Lake. As it was such a pleasant hike I was looking forward to coming back. The cloudy weather added to the scenery of today’s trip. |

| Greendrop Lake, Finally A few years back I set out on a hike to Lindeman and Greendrop lakes but ran out of time before reaching the second lake. So it was satisfying to finally reach it. |

| Dog Mountain I have quite enjoyed the hikes on Mt. Seymour and the trail to the smaller Dog Mountain looked interesting. I was hoping for good views of the city as a bonus. |

| Gold Creek Falls I had time only for a short hike today and found the Gold River Falls in my new book of hikes. So having never been there we set out to explore Golden Ears Park. |

| Hollyburn Workout For decades I have driven past and talked about Hollyburn Mountain, so I figured climbing it was long overdue – but I chose a bad day. |

| Ford Mountain I had driven up the logging road on the mountain and driven past it many times so I was quite ready to hike up the top unexplored section to see what was there. |

| Return to Mount Cheam It has been three years since I last climbed Cheam and I felt I was over due for a visit. I was not disappointed that I returned. |

| Airplane Creek Re-visited With the Pathfinder repaired I was finally able to do the hike I had planned to do June 21st – explore the ridge line leading to Lady Peak. |

| Capilano Canyon Last time I visited was during the low flow period, so today I went to see the chutes of the dam in action. I was not disappointed. |

| Harrison Lookout I first saw this trail several years ago and promised myself I would hike it one day. Finally I got the chance. |

| Squamish Water Parks When I visited Murin Park last August I enjoyed the subtle textures of the lake and planned to return and so I set out for the park only to be sent away! |

| Lighthouse Park - February 2008 I needed to visit the park in preparation for an upcoming event and had a chance to capture a few shots while there. |

| Mud Bay Park This small park is a dual use park – a 20Km long level walking/cycling trail and a phenomenal access point to viewing migratory birds. The dichotomy brought an interesting mixture of users. |
